Umikaji Terrace

Umikaji Terrace is a sightseeing spot opened on Senaga Island in the summer of 2015. It is a 15-minute drive from Naha Airport.
It is popular with local Uchinanchu (Okinawans), featuring hamburger restaurants, Okinawa soba and Okinawan sweets. We recommend watching airplanes take off and land at Naha Airport at sunset while enjoying beer on the terrace. It also features the natural hot spring “Ryujin no Yu”, which allows for a superb view of the ocean view from the top of the island.

Shuri Castle

Shuri Castle is an Okinawan castle registered as a World Heritage Site. It was restored in 1992 to its present spectacular appearance.
Various events are held here throughout the year, such as the Mid-Autumn Banquet in mid-autumn and the New Year’s Banquet on January 1, so be sure check the official website before coming here.

Kokusai dori

Kokusai-dori is in the center of Naha, has been developed remarkably after the WWII, so that it is also called “Miracle Mile”.
You will be able to find any kinds of Okinawa souvenir on this street.
Near the Kokusai-dori are typical Naha tourist stops, including Makishi Public Market, a citizens’ kitchen; Yachimun Street, where local yachimun (potters) gather; and Ukishima Street, where a wide variety of fashion items are available. A rich shopping experience is available all around you.

Naminoue Beach

Naminoue Beach is the only beach in Naha.
There are things here to enjoy at the beginning of your trip, as well as at the end.
It features a bathroom and shower (paid), so we recommend it if you just feel like going to the beach.
Nearby Naminoue Umisora Park offers snorkelling and diving.

Fukushuen

Fukushuen is a full-fledged Chinese garden opened in September 1992 to mark the 10th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Naha and Fuzhou. Going through the gate is like entering another world. It is becoming a popular spot in Naha, having recently been used in commercials and being introduced through the Internet.

Naha Tomari Port

This port is the gateway to Tokashiki, Zamami, Akajima, Kumejima, Tonakijima, Kitadaito, Minamidaito ferry and high-speed ships.
The passenger terminal building, Tomarin, has ticket booths, convenience stores, cafes and ATMs.
